I stayed in the Mt. Hood Village RV Resort (the map indicates the location of the campground). Mt. Hood Village RV Resort is costly for like $62 a night in end of July 2019, but has laundry facilities and many other useful amenities. Just a few miles east is a more natural campground for about a third of that cost and it's directly on a running creek, with larger camp spaces. From both camps it was easy to visit a few attractions, like the White River West Sno-Park and Mt. Hood Skibowl.
