It was on may way from the tranquil sleepy town of Arcata, crossing the Redwoods toward Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately, I could not enjoy as much time exploring, as I would have loved, because I had an appointment at a consulate in Portland. The huge Redwoods were impressive and the drive was definitely something I like to do again with more time and longer stops.
